Our Global Programme team plays a vital part in The Donkey Sanctuary’s response to Donkeys in Global Need by supporting the development of integrated strategies and programmes of work based in three regions (Latin America and Caribbean, Africa and South Asia). These programmes address the welfare needs of working donkeys and mules and support the communities that rely on them to create sustainable changes to welfare. Alongside this, we also deliver with our partners, programmes that respond to acute need and work on resilience and disaster risk reduction programmes wherever we can alleviate suffering.
