We have a superb opportunity for an organised, self-motivated and flexible individual to join our dedicated team at El Refugio del Burrito – a subsidiary of The Donkey Sanctuary, established in 2003 to improve conditions for donkeys and mules in Spain. With previous experience in a finance/accounting role, and a proven record in financial risk management, as Finance Administrator you will provide finance support for El Refugio Del Burrito, focusing on financial reporting processes both internally and externally.
Principal duties will include –
An academic qualification in accounting, together with excellent written and verbal communication skills – including the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of an organisation – is essential, as are an advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, and the ability to deliver to tight reporting deadlines and effectively manage priorities. Knowledge of charity accounting and taxation regulations and of international accounting and taxation (VAT) requirements is desirable.

This is a part-time, permanent contract starting as soon as possible, working 20 hours a week, and is based at the main office and visitor centre in Fuente de Piedra, Malaga.
