We have an exciting opportunity for a Country Manager (Italy), where you will provide leadership and operational direction and ensure effective communication. Responsible for the effective use of resources to implement the key objectives, as well as advocate local and country stakeholders to raise the status of donkeys and mules and improve living conditions of donkeys and mules in country.
Excellent communication skills are required as you will liaise/collaborate with key stakeholders to bring in agreed Donkey-Assisted Therapy schemes in Italy and ensure the implementation of policies, procedures and codes of practice and advise UK departments of local conditions/legislations with regard to policy and decision making.
Experience of Finance is required as you will be responsible for budgets and to facilitate and ensure that project financial statements are audited annually and submitted to the relevant institution in line with in-country legislation.
You will be reporting into the Regional Director – Europe, to ensure the Charities strategies are achieved.
